How You Can Help

Many hands make light work—come join us as we make blankets, buy, sort and pack up baby clothes, buy and distribute diapers and wipes, knit baby items, and much more!

Layette Packing & Delivery

Layette Packing and Delivery

Layette Assemblies are held four or five times per year at St. Teresa of Avila’s Memorial Hall in Summit.  Help is needed packing the baby clothing, blankets, and other items that make up the layette bundles that we provide to the free pediatric clinics at Overlook and Morristown hospitals.  Once packed up in our signature blue bags, we need volunteers to drop off the bundles in Morristown and Summit.

Diaper Distribution

Volunteers distribute diapers to our clients every month. We hold an annual fundraiser, work with other community groups on diaper drives, and coordinate with the local food bank and diaper bank to secure low-cost supplies for our clients.

Knitting and Crocheting

Join us as we come together to knit adorable baby hats, or tiny toppers, for babies in need. We welcome beginning knitters (we’ll teach you!), as well as seasoned knitters who want to join us for an enjoyable get together!

Blanket Making

Sewers and non sewers alike are needed to help us make enough fleece blankets each year to complete each layette bundle.  Come help us make blankets, and some new friends in the process!
